Hi Loves!!

Today I thought I would give you an in depth review of a LOOOOONG wearing foundation and concealer since summer is here and long wear is essential when it’s hot and melty out! I bought the Kat Von D Lock-it Tattoo Foundation and Concealer in January and I have to be honest I haven’t worn it more than half a dozen times. I prefer dewy natural finishes when it comes to foundation.

The foundation is very creamy and thick and a little bit really does go a long way but you definitely have to work at blending this to get a more natural and less heavy look. I use a bit of Urban Decay’s Dew me moisturizing setting spray and then buff again into my skin.

This product works best when applied by brush or sponge because I found the coverage was too thick when applied with my fingers. It covers redness and blemishes extremely easily with very little work and no need for a second application. I find that covering dark circle or spots is not really the concealer’s strong suit. I wasn’t happy with the coverage and brightening it gave at all. I prefer the foundation to the concealer hands down but I know many people LOVE the concealer, for some reason, it just doesn’t work for me and trust me I have tried!

Here is a before and after picture You can see it offers great coverage and this is only a single layer and single pump of foundation.

Wishing you flawless skin,

Dianna :)

Still loving this mascara folks, it’s super light weight, doesn’t budge and washes away as well as most of mascaras.

If you want to see me demo and fully review this new gel-mousse mascara check out my video on it.

I don’t know about you guys but I often get stuck in a rut with products or I “lose products” in purses, make-up bags, my kit etc… Then when I rediscover them I am more excited than when I buy a new product because we have a happy history lol!

Here are some products I recently rediscovered when I completely re-organized my make-up room. (video tour to come)

I’d love to hear all about your favorite products or products you recently rediscovered.

Hi Darlings,

I know it’s been a million years since I’ve been in touch. I’ve missed you all! truthfully life has been quite challenging on my end but I am going to save that story for another day! TODAY is all about FALL and changing up your look.

Personally I am DYING to dye my hair soft black and add a deep purple dip dye to my ends BUT alas one needs time to do such things something a mom of a 2.5 year old who is 26 weeks pregnant and has absolutely no help doesn’t have…

I do however have the time to pop to the drugstore and grab a couple (because my hair is so long) of boxes of color and change up my look the affordable and fast way…thank goodness!

I reviewed this app L’Oreal made called the My Colorist App recently and it’s great for those of you who are nervous about coloring or for those of you who are looking for the perfect mistake free professional results at home. The app prevents you from making any bad choices and gives you tips and advice for the best color based on lots of factors like previously colored hair, grays, semi-perm or perm color etc…which is pretty awesome and innovative if you ask me :)

Let me know what you think of the video, I wanted to give it a professional feel so it’s a bit less MBL that usual.

Sending you all fall love,

Dianna

As a preggie Momma of a 2.5 year old I too am just like you and get stuck in hair style ruts. My current hair cut has been less than satisfactory since the very first time I washed it and I happen to be quite good at blowing out hair and styling in general. This cut has made my hair unruly and ruined it’s recently found ability to dry naturally without being a frizz ball of oddly shaped mess…So a new cut is definitely on the cards for me since I feel like my hair just never looks pretty anymore even after an hour of styling…

Also on the change front is color. I am long overdue for a color (hello grey hair, how you doing?!) I want to go soft black (with a semi-perm as always because I like the way it fades naturally and then I don’t end up with witchy black ends) and then go dark purple ombre on the ends. I have always LOVED color in the hair so why not go all out and have a little fun this fall?

What do you guys think of the Ombre trend? Is it totally over?

Is colored ombre the new big trend for fall?

What do you think it totally hot in hair trends for fall?

I’m waiting to hear your opinions <3 hugs and happy hairstyles,

Dianna xo

Hi Darlings,

I’m not going to lie, it’s been a rough few weeks…I feel like I’ve had a lot of those lately. Having a 2.5 year old and no family or anyone to help out while being 22 weeks pregnant has been tough. I am finding it challenging to get quality videos to you guys and often end up having to chuck videos I spent time recording due to lighting issues or noise from my little man. I’ve also been quite tired and sick still from the pregnancy.

Many people are fortunate to have a family member or friend to help out so they can get things done or maybe even go out of a date but we mostly operate as an island, just my husband and I. I am so lucky that he works from home but he does work very hard and long hours.

I want to apologize if you noticed my absence and know I am always thinking about you guys and trying my absolute best to make things happen!

In the meantime I hope you have entered my beautigasm nail polish giveaway which ends tomorrow. You can enter on twitter and my fb page and as a comment to the video as well to increase you chances!

Super grateful for your support and sending you guys hugs,

Dianna

Hi Loves!!

A little while ago I had a super exciting opportunity to go the L’Oreal Paris Tech Center and create my very own signature color of Color Riche Nail Polish. It was honestly one of the most exciting opportunities I have ever had and I loved every minute.

I shot a video to show you guys how this stuff is made too, I know I was always curious! I hope you enjoy the video and at the end there is all the info you need to enter a giveaway for 25 bottles of this exclusive BEAUTIGASM shade of polish!! That’s right you have 25 chances to win :)

Good Luck to you all! xo

I never shy away from color as you probably know by now :) I especially love color in the summer when everyone is feeling a bit more bright and brave. If you have been shying away from your bright shadows give them a try and let me know how it makes you feel! I find it always improves my mood and gives me a little pick me up even if I don’t have anywhere fancy to go.

Have a beautiful bright day!

I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone! 17 weeks already? It’s hard to believe. Honestly because we were told conceiving would be very difficult and because we had been trying with no success I guess it is still very hard for me to believe we are actually pregnant. I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror when I am changing and I take a double take…it’s really happening! I feel so blessed and cannot wait to meet this little one :)

I am vlogging the whole pregnancy so if you are wondering what foods I am craving or what symptoms I am having check out my weekly vids. If you haven’t subscribed yet be sure to head to my channel and subscribe so you don’t miss any of upcoming videos including an exciting giveaway for 25 (yes twenty-five!) lucky winners for my 100th video!
